• Help Distribute food

• Attend our work outings to the food depository, which we have a lot of fun and receive credit for the hours worked.

• Attend the "Walk for Hunger" in June with our organization, or donate money to Greater Chicago Food Depository during that time to apply as a credit for EAA food bill.

Annual Walk

Each June the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) hosts a walk-a-thon along Chicago's beautiful lake front, which helps raise money for their hunger fighting efforts.

Individuals can donate money to GCFD for the European American Assoc. food pantry or can participate in the walk-a-thon with us.  Funds raised during this activity will help pay for the food we buys from GCFD.

Check back to see the exact date the 2008 walk will take place, we'd  love to see you there.
